Transaction Coordinator Job Description:
The Transaction Coordinator plays an important role in the organization by performing, under direct supervision, a number of activities related to assisting Loan originators build complete loan files for submission. This role performs Contract to Close duties.
ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES :
The Transaction Coordinator will work with one or more LOs to ensure the loan moves through the pre-approval process and up to final underwriting without unnecessary delays.
TC will run preliminary background and credit checks for the LOs for all prospective borrowers.
TC will create, organize, and manage borrower loan files to company protocols. LO is expected to review files before forwarding to TC, but TC is ultimately responsible for correctness and completeness of Underwriting Folders.
Upon receipt of borrower files, TC is to thoroughly review each document to ensure its completeness and adherence to company specific underwriting guidelines. Only documents that have been deemed to fully satisfy the required underwriting guidelines are to be stored in the respective subfolder (Folders 2-5). If the document is not satisfactory, it is to be saved in the 1. Internal Use Only folder under a subfolder labeled “Problem Documents.”
Qualifications: MBA, M.com or B.com with us mortgage experience
Experience: 0-2 years of experience
Location : Hyderabad.
